For people and planet, we as members of the jewellery industry have a shared vision of a responsible and sustainable future. Here’s how that vision looks…

Jewellery is bought and given as a token of love, a reflection of personality or a communication of power and wealth.  It has been for millennia. All too often, however, jewellery is created by supply chains that harbour social injustice and environmental devastation.

We at Fair Luxury know that when jewellery is produced responsibly, it has the power to create sustainable livelihoods for everyone involved - from the miners of raw materials to the designers, creators and retailers of the completed jewels.

We want to belong to a jewellery industry that celebrates this opportunity; that shares the wealth it creates with everybody who made it happen. This industry in our mind’s eye takes responsibility for ensuring safe working conditions, fair wages and trade opportunities and a general respect for human rights - all whilst working to conserve and restore the natural environment.
